Np. If you are taking the max of 5 bots with you, you are likely losing a few drops to the bots. If you reduce the number of bots to 3 or 4 then the likelihood of a jawbone dropping for your character will increase. Or just go with friends and force them to give all their jawbones to you. Also, sometimes people sell them in town if you feel like being lazy. :P

Are you saving up for collector's item? Max armour footwear? I was in the same boat and got sick of farming them. Turns out when I was next in Port Sledge, there is a collector in the north-central part of the map who will give you max footwear (I was a Necro, but I assume it's same for others) in exchange for Azure Remains (either 5 or 7, I forget which). Azure Remains are 10x easier to collect than Massive Jawbones, so that might help.

this is not for my necro char. I also have a Monk and finding a good high dmg holy rod is near impossible. I can get a 22dmg holy rod from that very same collector. I just need 5 flippen massive jaws!

I think i remember getting one of those from the Jungle Trolls near Riverside Province. I was out with Henchmen, so didn't get many, but they are fairly easy to kill.
Maybe that would be easier than Sand Giants as those Giants are a pig. Well, I think they are.

Oh, and this guy was just meaning he got Necro armor, but as you're a Monk, I would think you would get Monk Armor if you were interested. Collectors change armor they give depending on characters you play.

You can also get massive jawbones from things that I beleive are called "Dune Behemoths". In the Elona Reach mission. I beleive that if you are by yourself or with other players you can get massive drops.

What's with the underline?
Anyway, you can grab them from pretty much any giant. There's a collector in Snake Dance that gives some nice staffs for them iirc.

Whoops. I made a mistake in my post earlier. I forgot I fought these too while near Riverside Province. Wasn't Trolls after all, but the Behemoths I was fighting in that area.
Sorry.

No, not any giants drop Massive jawbones (as jayray said), only Sand Giants do. No, Dune Burrowers do not drop Massive jawbones, they drop Dune Burrower jaws. No, Trolls do not drop Massive jawbones, they drop Tusks (varying Tusks depending on Troll race).
